Job Description:
SUMMARY

The Electronic Gaming Cashier is responsible for providing currency transactions to all guest. Provide excellent guest service by assisting guest promptly. Follow all gaming regulations under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Responsible for cashing in or out tickets and chips.
Cash out coupons.
Provide check cashing, cash and credit card advances.
Cash out jackpots.
Provide excellent guest service.
Makes change.
Computer transactions and paperwork.
Maintains MT and NI logs.
Knowledge of promotions and special events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and previous cash handling experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest service.
Knowledge of CNE Policies and Procedures.
Knowledge of mathematics.
Previous cashier experience.
Knowledge of computers.
Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate controlled environment with exposure to smoke and loud noise.
This position requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties.
Work is performed while standing, walking, or sitting with occasional need to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel.
Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
Job is very physically demanding.
