Cherokee Casino properties feature nine casinos and numerous retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino locations are Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Claremore, Grove, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville and Ramona.

SUMMARY
The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing mixes, drinks, and a variety of beverages for cocktail servers as well as casino guests. Must be 21 years or older.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Maintains the integrity of the company by following all standards regarding alcohol.
Responsible for checking identification for guests that appear to be under the age of 35 to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age requirements of 21.
Provides excellent guest service to external and internal guests.
Ensures excellent quality beverages are served to all guests.
Adheres to drink recipes as standardized by the company.
Maintains cash drawer and properly following all procedures for monetary transactions.
Stocks supplies for the next shift’s business.
Promotes a teamwork environment.
Upholds cleanliness standards for work stations.
Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment.
Duties may vary by location.
Performs other job duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have a food handler’s card from the Cherokee Nation.
Must have a liquor license.
Must pass the Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a CNGC gaming license, OHRC gaming and racing license.
Requires the ability to multitask
Require the ability to work a flexible schedule.
Maintain a positive professional working relationship with management and co-workers.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals. This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Potential employees must be 18 years of age or older. The potential employee must be able to pass a drug test and background check and must not have a felony conviction, whether expunged, annulled or sealed by the court.
