Ensures quality production of food, recipe adherence, portion control standards, and presentation of all food items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
Perform production cooking of food for the main kitchen.
Must adhere to standards for preparation, portioning, cooking, and presentation of all menu items.
Ensure excellent quality of food and proper presentation.
Ensure proper portion control, adherence to recipes, and timeliness of all food products.
Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
Duties may differ by work location.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Able to multitask
Able to work a flexible schedule.
Maintain a positive professional working relationship with management and co-workers
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must obtain a food handler’s card from the Cherokee Nation.
Work requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Work involves frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals
