Cherokee Casino properties feature nine casinos and numerous retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino locations are Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Claremore, Grove, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville and Ramona.

SUMMARY

The Steakhouse Server is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guest visiting the steakhouse. Responsible for coordinating the delivery of all food and beverage to the guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

Responsible for serving all food and beverage ordered by guests in a proper, efficient and friendly manner.
Provides exceptional customer service to guests visiting the steakhouse.
Maintains the integrity of the company by following all standards regarding alcohol safety for all guests.
Responsible for financial transaction of rendering payment for the guest.
Coordinate the delivery of all food and beverage for the guest during their visit to the steakhouse.
Responsible for checking identification for guests that appear to be under the age of 35 to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age requirements of 21.
Uphold cleanliness standards for station and shared areas of responsibility.
Answer incoming calls and make reservations and take to go orders.
Take orders and deliver orders to other areas in the casino.
Assist other employees when needed.
Duties may differ by work location.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years work experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Maintain a close working relationship with co-workers.
Good customer service skills.
Proficiently operate basic office equipment, computer, and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have a food handler’s card from the Cherokee Nation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals.
