Cherokee Casino properties feature nine casinos and numerous retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino locations are Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Claremore, Grove, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville and Ramona.

SUMMARY
The Surveillance Agent is responsible for monitoring audio and video surveillance equipment. Dispatch information to security. Provides for the safety and security of patrons, employees, visitors and assets of the Casino. Monitors activity to ensure compliance with all Gaming policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Ensure surveillance of gaming areas where possible theft, noncompliance of Gaming Policies, Tribal, State, Federal Regulations and criminal acts may occur.
Ensure surveillance of CNE properties for safety and security concerns.
Knowledgeable of most current State, Tribal, Federal Gaming Regulation, Policies and Procedures. Demonstrate familiarity of controls for gaming. Able to evaluate and identify variances from established standards, and document and report these variances to their immediate supervisor.

Knowledgeable of most current Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) rules and other applicable law codes, and regulations. Able to evaluate and identify variances from established standards and document and report these variances to immediate supervisor.
Must be familiar with surveillance techniques, gaming scams, cheating methods, and new equipment.
General knowledgeable of all house games offered by Cherokee Nation Entertainment. Familiar with Policy and Procedure and regulations concerning all aspects of games offered.
Familiar with the operation and major components of Electronic Gaming Machines, as well as areas of weakness and vulnerability. Familiar with Policies on EGM’s and related areas of operation.
Actively monitors cash handling and storage areas and all transfers of cash, chips, and cash equivalents for loss protection and adherence to procedures.
Actively monitors all casino radio traffic for activity, and respond as necessary.
Responds to requests for Video Reviews observation requests, opening and closing of card table notifications, and other requests for information and reviews from Audit Services, Gaming, Security, Loss Prevention, Employee Services, and outside agencies.
Actively monitors E-Games, table, and card game play for adherence to proper procedures and loss protection. Proficient in game play standards, basic strategy, betting strategy, and dealer procedures. Must also be familiar with cheating and advantage play methods such as card counting, electronic devices, cooler decks, false shuffles, dealer collusion, etc.
Assist security with video reviews, monitoring incidents for officer safety and emergency situations such as bomb threats, fire, robbery, and other type situations.
Works closely with Loss Prevention, Internal Audit, CNGC, and other departments and agencies to provide information in investigations of possible loss or theft from CNE properties.
Maintains logs concerning daily activities, EGM access, video reviews, equipment malfunction, directed surveillance, system checks, access to Surveillance area, and other items as required.
Proficient in the operation of the computerized report management system. Able to input access, update, print, and send reports on the information system.
Accurate report writing skills.
Maintain proper chain of custody and storage procedures on all video evident and reports generated by Surveillance.
May be required to testify or attest to the accuracy of a report or video.
Ensure surveillance equipment is operating properly, performs checks and completes log on condition of equipment and status of cameras and the digital recording unit.
Proficiently operate phone system, basic office equipment, computer and basic computer programs utilized in daily operations (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Paint, etc)
Maintain strict confidentiality and standards of conduct concerning Surveillance matters and job performance.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Twelve hours college credit and completion of Composition 1 required or a combination of education and experience compatible with this position. 6 month of work experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience is required.

Must be able to obtain a CNGC and/or OHRC Gaming License.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time with occasional standing and walking. Must be able to lift and carry 10 lbs.
