Job Description:
SUMMARY

The Gaming Floor Cashier is responsible for providing currency transactions to all guest. Provide excellent guest service. Follow all gaming regulations under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Responsible for cashing in or out tickets and chips.
Cash out coupons.
Provide check cashing, cash and credit card advances.
Cash out jackpots.
Provide excellent guest service.
Makes change.
Computer transactions and paperwork.
Maintains MT and NI logs.
Knowledge of promotions and special events.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of a High School diploma and previous cash handling experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest service.
Knowledge of mathematics.
Previous cashier experience.
Knowledge of computers.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License through the CNGC.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate controlled office environment with frequent exposure to smoke or loud noise. The position requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Most work is performed while standing , sitting or walking with occasional need to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, reach and handle. Must be able to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
