While on a visit to Israel with his Texas counterpart, Governor Kevin Stitt’s office released a sports betting proposal that allows in-person betting at federally recognized Tribal casinos while offering out-of-state commercial gaming, breaking the exclusivity clauses of the model gaming compacts.
“I think he’s a little out of his wheelhouse on what he thinks he can do, (with) granting the mobile portion to an outside vendor,” Representative Ken Luttrell told The Oklahoman. Luttrell is the chairman of the Legislature’s Native American caucus.
