The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal over the Seminole Tribe’s mobile gaming compact with the State of Florida, but its impact in a state with 35 Tribal gaming operations still needs to be determined. 

“The court decision allows the tribes and the states to really look beyond the scope of what we have done in the past and to look at new and innovative ways to offer gaming,” said Matthew Morgan, chair of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association.”
